Blood Orange Jam

This jam is made from the fruit of Samantha’s Blood Orange tree. The jam is on the sweet side with just a little tang to it. I met Samantha at the market and she liked my jams to much that she entrusted me some of her blood oranges for jam. Like all Single Tree jams, the fruit comes from one tree and the jam is made in small batches of 6-7 half-pint jars per batch. The ingredients are the flesh of Samantha’s Blood Oranges (minus the seeds), sugar, and water. No additional flavors are needed for this smooth jam. Each jar contains 8 FL OZ of orange heaven.

Try this orange jam on bagels, English muffins, and toast. And, for a real treat, try putting it on a buttered cracker.
